Overview

The Marketing Contractor will assist in planning, organizing, and executing successful marketing events that align with the firm’s strategic goals. This position requires a dynamic individual who will be responsible for a wide range of event-related tasks including logistics, coordinating with vendors, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure every event is a success. Other tasks significant to field engagement activities will include routing marketing collateral through compliance processes, updating Salesforce campaigns with appropriate statuses, and ensuring all marketing activities align with our strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have a background in event planning and marketing, with excellent organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Event Planning Support
    • Assist in the coordination with vendors, venues, and partners to ensure seamless event execution.
    • Support the development and management of event timelines, budgets, logistics, and promotional materials.
    • Help create and manage event-specific marketing collateral (deck presentations, invites), ensuring timely delivery and compliance review.
    • Execute and track shipments for various conferences and events.
    • Research new venues and vendors for future events.
    • Route marketing materials through the compliance review process, ensuring all content meets regulatory and brand standards.
    • Maintain an organized system for tracking collateral submissions and approvals.
    • Submit conference and sponsorship invoices through the internal portal for expense processing.
    • Update and maintain Salesforce campaigns, ensuring accurate status updates and data integrity.
    • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment of campaign goals and execution.
  1. Reporting and Analysis
    • Provide regular updates and reports on marketing collateral and Salesforce campaign statuses.
    • Assist in analyzing campaign performance metrics and suggest improvements.
    • Work closely with the Event Planning Team and other departments to ensure cohesive marketing strategies and execution.
    • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to enhance marketing efforts.
Skills Required
  • Proven experience in marketing, event planning, or a related role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and other CRM systems.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation software (e.g., Pardot).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with compliance processes in marketing (preferred).
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
