Job summary

EAC Consulting, Inc. in Miami, FL seeks a Marketing Coordinator I to join our Business Development Department. You will help identify BD opportunities, coordinate with marketing and engineering, and lead responses to RFPs/RFQs under the guidance of the Proposal Manager.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field and up to 2 years of BD experience, with strong communication, branding knowledge, and proficiency in CRM and MS Office. On-site with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, English or related field.
• Entry-level to two (2) years of experience in business development or related experience.
• Proficiency with CRM programs and/or achieve proficiency with EAC’s CRM within six months of hire date.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator; or understanding that basic knowledge and use of these are needed within six months of hire date.
• Knowledgeable with marketing strategies and branding.
• Familiar with process of responding to RFQs/RLIs/RFPs or similar requests.
• Familiar with Client Resource Management systems/process.
• Good communication, verbal and technical writing (writing samples required).
• Able to develop presentations and guiding effective presentation delivery.
• Able to network and build productive internal/external relationships.
• Work effectively in an environment with multiple deadlines.
• Able to understand and comply with RFP/RLI requirements.

Responsibilities

• Identify and track BD opportunities aligned with services and geography.
• Participate in client and BD pursuit meetings; coordinate with marketing and engineering to develop RFPs/RFQs.
• Lead responses to RFPs/RFQs in coordination with Proposal Manager.
• Develop responses to RFPs/RFQs with effective writing.
• Develop content for proposals and presentations with input from engineers and BD Leaders.
• Prioritize workload and collaborate with BD team to meet deadlines.
• Implement BD process including CRM project database development and maintenance.
• Assist in branding and social media strategy.
• Represent EAC at key industry events.
