Job summary

EAC Consulting, Inc. is seeking a licensed Civil Engineer (PE) to serve as Project Manager in our Aviation team. This role offers hybrid work from Florida locations (Miami, Ft.

Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, or Orlando) and requires leading multi-disciplinary projects with a focus on airside and landside airport infrastructure. The ideal candidate has a PE license, 7+ years of experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in civil/airport projects.
• Experience as PM for multi-disciplinary projects with coordination.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with FAA/TSA regulations and airside/landside airport infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction administration and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.
• Develop scopes, budgets and production work plans; negotiate fees.
• Coordinate with Project Accountant for invoicing and collections.
• Serve as Engineer of Record where required and ensure QC plans are followed.
• Develop sound engineering solutions and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support business development through marketing and client engagement.

EAC Consulting, Inc. is looking for a licensed Civil Engineer (PE) to serve as Project Manager within our Aviation team to work hybrid from any of our locations in Florida (Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, or Orlando)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Project Management

• Comfortable leading construction administration.
• Implements the company’s Project Management policies and procedures.
• Develops scope of services and negotiates fees required for success.
• Plans tasks required and leads a team to implement on-time/within budget.
• Manages scope, identifying additional services and working with client to get additional fees.
• Achieves high client grades by meeting/exceeding expectations.
• Works with Project Accountant to invoice client accurately and on-time. Assists with collections when past due.
• Serves as Engineer of Record where needed.
• Develops a sound engineering solution that safely satisfies the scope and needs of the client.
• Implements the Quality Control Plan to deliver quality deliverables.
• Develops production work plans, schedules and budgets.
• Assist with preparation of scopes and budgets for new task orders or amendments.
• Ensure proper codes, regulations and standards are being used by engineers on projects.
• Provides the design staff with guidance and assistance on projects.
• Knowledge of airside and landside airport infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of FAA and TSA regulations.
• Knowledge of AIP funding requirements (preferred).
• Familiarity with FAA Advisory Circular’s and Engineering Briefs.
• Familiarity with pavement design and FAARField Design Software.

Business Development (BD)

• Maintains positive relationships with current and past clients.
• Seeks BD opportunities through active marketing with clients.
• Leads or contributes to BD pursuits. Develops Go/NoGo and Win Plans with winning concepts and strategies. Contributes technical write-ups. Develops presentations and participates in interviews.
• Participates in industry organizations and contributes to social media and internal intranet posts to further EAC’s brand.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience as PM for small- to large-sized projects with multiple disciplines and medium complexity (multi-disciplined services requiring coordination).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Licensed as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) required.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of the project development process.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Problem solving and analytical skills.
• Able to plan, manage and deliver assignments using all project delivery methods.
• Technical knowledge of civil engineering and design standards.
