Job summary

EAC Consulting, Inc. is seeking a licensed Civil Engineer (PE) to serve as Project Manager within our Land Development team at our Miami Main office. The role includes project management, engineering leadership, and business development across multi-discipline projects in a hybrid setting.

Ideal candidates will have a PE license, a Civil Engineering degree, and 8–10+ years of relevant experience, with strong communication and client-facing skills for successful project delivery in South Florida.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required.
8–10 years of relevant experience; 15+ preferred.
PM experience for multi-disciplined projects and coordination.
Technical knowledge of civil engineering and design standards.
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
Able to plan and deliver assignments on-time and within budget.

Responsibilities

Manage projects according to PM policies and procedures.
Develop scope of services and negotiate fees.
Plan tasks and lead a team to finish on-time/budget.
Manage scope and coordinate with client for additional fees.
Invoice clients with Project Accountant and assist collections.
Serve as Engineer of Record where needed.
Develop engineering solutions to safely meet client needs.
Implement Quality Control Plan for deliverables.
Maintain relationships with current and past clients.
Seek BD opportunities and develop Go/No-Go and Win Plans.
Contribute to marketing and social media and internal posts.

EAC Consulting, Inc. is looking for a licensed Civil Engineer (PE) to serve as Project Manager within our Land Development team at our Miami Main office.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Project Management

Implements the company’s Project Management policies and procedures.
Develops scope of services and negotiates fees required for success.
Plans tasks required and leads a team to implement on-time/within budget.
Manages scope, identifying additional services and working with client to get additional fees.
Achieves high client grades by meeting/exceeding expectations.
Works with Project Accountant to invoice client accurately and on-time. Assists with collections when past due.

Engineering

Serves as Engineer of Record where needed.
Develops a sound engineering solution that safely satisfies the scope and needs of the client.
Implements the Quality Control Plan to deliver quality deliverables.

Business Development (BD)

Maintains positive relationships with current and past clients.
Seeks BD opportunities through active marketing with clients.
Leads or contributes to BD pursuits. Develops Go/NoGo and Win Plans with winning concepts and strategies. Contributes technical write-ups. Develops presentations and participates in interviews.
Participates in industry organizations and contributes to social media and internal intranet posts to further EAC’s brand.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
Licensed as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) required.
Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience. 15+ years of experience would be preferred.
Experience as PM for small- to large-sized projects with multiple disciplines and medium complexity (multi-disciplined services requiring coordination).
Technical knowledge of civil engineering and design standards.
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
Problem solving and analytical skills.
Able to plan, manage and deliver assignments on-time/within budget using all project delivery methods.
