Talent Edge Recruiting is seeking a Marketing Coordinator for our Northern Virginia client. This stand-alone marketing role serves as the primary in-house resource, collaborating with leadership and cross-functional teams to move the marketing engine forward.

You will craft proposals, client-facing submissions, and visual collateral while ensuring consistent branding. The position is onsite in Reston, with growth opportunities and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of marketing experience or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently as the primary in-house marketing resource.
• Strong graphic design and visual presentation skills.
• Experience with proposals, client-facing materials, and marketing collateral.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, and/or Canva.

Schedule: 100% Onsite | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Compensation: $70,000–$80,000

The Opportunity

A well-established and growing commercial construction company is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to become the primary day-to-day marketing resource for its Northern Virginia office. This is a great opportunity for someone with approximately 2+ years of marketing experience who is ready to take more ownership and wants their work to have a visible impact across the organization.

While this is a stand-alone marketing position, you will work closely with company leadership, preconstruction, project executives, and other internal teams. The overall brand and marketing foundation are already established — this role is focused on keeping the marketing engine moving, improving the quality of client-facing materials, and making sure the company presents itself consistently and professionally.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate and execute day-to-day marketing initiatives
• Create, format, and polish proposals, qualification packages, and client-facing submissions
• Build presentations, pitch decks, graphics, and other visual marketing materials
• Manage company content across LinkedIn and Instagram
• Maintain consistency across branding, messaging, and marketing collateral
• Work with leadership and internal teams to gather information and turn it into polished materials
• Coordinate website updates with outside vendors
• Support occasional advertising, media, and industry marketing opportunities
• Maintain and update company marketing materials as projects, capabilities, and teams evolve
• Help improve the overall presentation and quality of materials being delivered to prospective and existing clients

What We're Looking For

• Approximately 2+ years of marketing experience
• Comfortable working independently and serving as the primary in-house marketing resource
• Strong graphic design and visual presentation skills
• Experience with presentations, proposals, marketing collateral, or similar client-facing materials
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, and/or Canva
• Experience managing professional social media content
• Strong written and visual communication skills
• Organized, responsive, and comfortable balancing multiple deadlines
• Able to work directly with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
• Hands-on mentality with strong follow-through
• Degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Public Relations, or a related field preferred

Construction, commercial real estate, architecture, engineering, or broader AEC experience is a plus, but not required. A genuine interest in learning the construction industry and growing within it is more important.

The company has approximately 100–150 employees and generates around $150M annually, with work spanning commercial interiors, hospitality, restaurants, retail, higher education, government, multifamily, renovations, and other commercial construction projects.

This position is expected to 100% onsite in Reston, VA. There is flexibility when needed for the occasional work-from-home day, but the standard expectation is to be in the office full-time and integrated with the team.
