Job summary

Consor in Portland, OR is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support proposals, pursuits, events, and marketing collateral.

You’ll collaborate with marketing, business development, and technical teams to produce high-quality materials and maintain accurate information that supports our pursuit and growth strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or related field.
  • Minimum two years of marketing experience; AEC experience a plus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud including InDesign/Illustrator/Photoshop; Deltek Vision or VantagePoint is a plus.
  • Hybrid work environment; occasional noise in office or event settings.
  • Physical demands include sitting, talking, and occasional standing.

Responsibilities

  • Support conferences, events, sponsorships, and networking opportunities.
  • Assist with marketing and business development efforts including proposals and market research.
  • Maintain data quality and contribute to reporting and AI initiatives.
  • Assist lead tracking and coordinate updates in Vantagepoint.
  • Plan and produce compliant SOQs/RFQs and proposals with teams.
  • Write, update, and proofread marketing content for materials and resumes.
  • Coordinate with subconsultants to craft persuasive proposal text and format.
  • Create graphics and visuals for proposals.
  • Maintain the marketing content database.

Job description

What Your Day Will Look Like:

As a Marketing Coordinator, you’ll support a variety of marketing and business development activities, including proposals and pursuits, lead tracking, conferences and events, presentations, awards, and marketing collateral. You’ll collaborate with marketing, business development, and technical teams to keep efforts organized, produce high-quality materials, and maintain accurate information that supports our pursuit and growth strategies. You’ll also provide quality control and graphic design support across a variety of marketing deliverables. The Marketing Coordinator reports to the Marketing Director.

Pay Range: $60,000 - $90,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

What You'll Do:
  • Coordinate and support industry conferences, client events, sponsorships, and networking opportunities, including logistics, materials, and team coordination.
  • Assist with a variety of AEC marketing and business development efforts including presentations, award submissions, market research, and strategic pursuit support.
  • Support database organization and data quality efforts that contribute to reporting, business development strategy, and evolving internal AI and automation initiatives.
  • Support lead tracking efforts by monitoring upcoming opportunities, maintaining accurate lead information in Vantagepoint, and coordinating updates with marketing and business development teams.
  • Collaborate with marketing/proposal leads and technical resources to plan, develop, and produce quality, compliant, and compelling SOQs/RFQs and proposals.Coordinate and facilitate kickoff meetings and manage pursuit team schedules.
  • Write, update, and proofread marketing content, including proposals, resumes, presentations, project descriptions, and other related materials, for spelling, grammar, consistency, quality, and overall compliance with brand standards/voice.
  • Support or lead production of deliverables associated with proposals and other business development efforts in conformance with company standards.
  • Coordinate with subconsultants and remote team members to compose proposal text with a consistent and persuasive tone, and format proposals.
  • Create or facilitate the creation of graphics, design layouts, and visuals for proposals.
  • Help maintain the marketing team’s database of proposal content.
What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor of Science in Marketing, Business, Communications, Public Relations, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum two years of marketing experience. AEC experience a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud suite software including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Deltek Vision or VantagePoint experience is a plus.
  • This hybrid position operates within both professional office and remote work environments and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and copy machines. May occasionally be exposed to noise in office or event settings.
  • While performing the duties of this job, physical demands of the employee may include constant sitting, talking, hearing, repetitive motions, and occasional standing, moving, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, and coordination. This job will rarely require lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling over 35 lbs.
