Eagle Rock Distributing Co. seeks a Marketing Coordinator to lead hands-on events from planning to teardown, including managing POS materials and equipment logistics. The role supports the VP of Marketing and sales teams to ensure ERDC standards and timely execution.

The position requires physical activity, weekend work, and the ability to coordinate with sponsors, venues, and retailers while maintaining inventory and delivering a professional company image.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating events and POS activities is a plus.

Description

The Marketing Coordinator is a hands-on, physically active role responsible for organizing special events from start to finish and managing all Point of Sale (POS) materials. The coordinator handles event preparation, setup and teardown, delivers and maintains event equipment, organizes and maintains marketing assets, and supports POS placement in accounts and venues. This position works closely with the VP of Marketing and sales teams to ensure events and POS programs are executed to the standards of Eagle Rock Distributing Company (ERDC) and our Suppliers. Requires weekends

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Marketing Coordinator, you will work as part of the marketing team to effectively execute marketing strategies for the ERDC portfolio while working within a specified budget. Specific priorities and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Special Events

Goal: To organize ER event from start to finish

• Help negotiate sponsorships in coordination with the VP of Mktg/Brand Team
• Forecast product for events 8 weeks in advance
• Manage the delivery of equipment to event or account
• Drive brand growth by positioning ERDC products effectively
• Manage and direct activations, hand sells, and sampling for special events
• Maintain, wash and clean all special event equipment (jockey boxes, trailers, pickups and tents) to ERDC standards
• Fully recap each event and provide a summary
• Assure payment is received at the completion of the event
• Responsible for account management for teams' sponsorships and venues.
• Venue Sales & Product Rotation Monthly
• In Season Schedule: Flexibility Required by the week pending events schedule.
• Off season from Events Duties: Monday- Friday Schedule

POS Coordination

Goal: Handle all forms of Point of Sale

• Asset Organization - Tap Handles, Glassware, POS
• Log all items into the route accounting system and keep an accurate inventory
• Fulfill POS orders from the sales team daily
• Asset Maintenance – Maintain a clean and organized warehouse

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. College experience is desirable but not mandatory. Candidate will be responsible for representing the company at all times in a professional manner. Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to meet Eagle Rock’s minimum driver requirements.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to reach, pull, twist, bend, stoop to move kegs of beer. Must be able to check code dates accurately, communicate with retailers and co-workers. May require sitting or standing for extended periods. Occasionally requires the ability to lift over 100 lbs. Must be capable of pushing or pulling loaded carts (weighing approximately 300 lbs). Must be able to hitch, back up and pull large trailers safely.

Environmental Conditions & Temperament

• Job duties are performed inside and outside warehouses and event locations.
• Exposure to outside weather, walk-in cooler temperatures, riding in semi-truck, exposure to fumes, vibrations and noise levels.
• Ability to maintain a professional image in public eye while performing the duties.

Thorough product and package knowledge is essential. A safe driving record is also required. Previous beverage experience is preferred.
