Job description

About the position:

Location: Los Angeles - Hybrid 3 days in office

Reports to: Marketing Director

The Marketing Coordinator supports day-to-day marketing operations and execution across brand, digital, retail, and field marketing. This is a highly cross-functional role that offers exposure to all areas of marketing and is ideal for someone eager to grow within a dynamic, high-energy CPG environment.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Brand Support

  • Assist in the execution of brand campaigns, product launches, and seasonal promotions.
  • Support the development of marketing materials such as sell sheets, presentations, in-store signage, and social content.
  • Coordinate with design, copy, and internal resources to deliver creative assets on time and on brand.
  • Create and share monthly recaps of “marketing wins” with internal teams.

Retail & Trade Marketing

  • Help execute shopper marketing programs and retail activations across key accounts.
  • Manage requests for samples, POS materials, and promotional items from Sales and Field teams.

Digital & Social Media

  • Support influencer coordination on social platforms.
  • Build out affiliate marketing program, with a special focus on TikTok Shop
  • Work with internal teams and vendors to optimize DTC and eCommerce marketing assets (e.g., Amazon, brand site, Instacart).
  • Assist in compiling analytics and performance recaps.

Field Marketing & Events

  • Coordinate logistics for events, field marketing activations, and brand partnerships.
  • Liaise with field teams to ensure they have the tools, merch, and talking points they need.
  • Partner with Sales to execute in-store demos in key retailers nationwide.

Administrative & Project Management

  • Maintain marketing calendars and update project trackers.
  • Help gather insights from consumer research, surveys, and social listening.

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience in a marketing, communications, or project coordination role (internships included).
  • Passion for brand-building, creativity, and consumer culture—especially in the food & beverage or wellness space.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace; familiarity with TikTok Shop, Canva, Adobe Suite, and Asana.
  • Self-starter with a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Prior CPG or startup experience
  • Familiarity with retail marketing and/or eCommerce platforms (like Amazon or Shopify)
