Job summary

Jay Peak Resort is seeking a Marketing Coordinator for year-round, full-time work. You will act as the daily hub of the marketing team, coordinating content creation, vendor management, and timely updates to our website and materials while upholding brand consistency.

In this role you’ll collaborate with the Director of Marketing and Brand Manager across departments, handling logistics, proofreading, and asset management to ensure accurate, compelling communications for our guests and partners.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business materials; produce reports and communications.
  • Experience with coordinating marketing content and assets is a plus.
  • Proficient with CMS and marketing collateral workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Content gathering including photos, videos, and other real-time content to support social media and marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate production logistics for short-form shoots, scheduling, locations, and cross-department communication.
  • Coordinate with printers, promo vendors, photographers, and other partners; manage quotes, orders, timelines and delivery.
  • Update marketing materials using brand standards (brochures, posters, signage, ads, presentations).
  • Perform website and mobile app content updates as assigned.
  • Edit and format marketing copy for consistency and brand adherence.
  • Proofread materials for grammar, brand consistency, pricing, dates and accuracy.

SUMMARY

The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the Director of Marketing, Brand Manager, and departments across the resort, serving as the day-to-day operational hub of the marketing team. This role manages vendor coordination, website updates, marketing collateral, production logistics, and in-the-moment content gathering, while helping maintain the quality, consistency, and efficiency of the department's work.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Content gathering including photos, videos, and other real-time content throughout the resort to support social media, digital marketing, and future marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate production logistics for short-form photography and video shoots, including scheduling, locations, and communication with participating departments for social & event coverage.
  • Coordinate production with printers, promotional merchandise suppliers, sign vendors, photographers, and other marketing vendors, including obtaining quotes, placing orders, tracking timelines, and confirming delivery.
  • Update templated marketing materials using established brand standards, including brochures, posters, signage, advertisements, presentations, menus, and other promotional collateral.
  • Perform website and mobile app content updates as assigned.
  • Assist with editing and formatting marketing copy to ensure consistency, accuracy, and adherence to established brand standards.
  • Proofread marketing materials for grammar, brand consistency, pricing, dates, and operational accuracy before publication.
  • Traffic creative assets and final files to media partners, vendors, and internal departments.
  • Maintain organized digital asset libraries, templates, marketing files, and department documentation.
  • Maintain inventory of marketing materials, promotional merchandise, signage, display materials, and other branded assets, coordinating reorders as needed.
  • Coordinate production and installation of on-property signage, banners, displays, and promotional materials.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and have basic knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign software. Familiarity with CMS (Content Management Systems) required.

OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES

Must have solid organizational skills and strong attention to detail as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required with French as an asset.

RESORT CONDITIONS

This is a Winter Resort Area. It requires that work venues are varied, and in many cases include steep stairways, multilevel buildings and outdoor work areas, subject to very cold, sometimes wet or very sunny work sites. Some facilities are located at the base or bottom area, and some are semi-remote and can only be reached by traveling via chair lift(s), skis or snowboards. Walking surfaces are frequently frozen, sloped and slippery. Proper footwear is a must, indoors and out. Workdays and hours, as well as the number of hours required will vary, with an emphasis on weekends and holidays.
