Job summary

Kei Concepts, a Huntington Beach-based restaurant group, seeks a Marketing Coordinator to support daily marketing operations across its brands. The role focuses on coordinating campaigns, content production, reporting, and administrative workflows with internal teams, vendors, and leadership.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in marketing or related fields, strong communication, and organizational skills. This position is in-office with no current work-from-home option in Huntington Beach, CA.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in marketing, communications, project coordination, administrative support, or a related field preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred but not required based on relevant experience.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with multiple departments and stakeholders.
  • Proactive approach to identifying issues and following up before deadlines are missed.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with or willingness to learn platforms such as Monday.com, SharePoint, Canva, and other marketing tools.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing restaurant organization.
  • Reliable transportation for occasional local restaurant visits, errands, events, or marketing-related needs.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate logistics and planning for photo and video shoots, including scheduling, calendars, call sheets, and other production needs.
  • Assist with organizing and maintaining marketing assets, photography, videos, and creative files.
  • Upload and manage files through platforms such as SharePoint, Monday.com, and other internal systems.
  • Assist with minor Canva edits and basic creative updates under the direction of the Marketing team.
  • Help ensure marketing asset libraries remain organized, current, and easily accessible.
  • Support the execution and rollout of marketing campaigns across multiple Kei Concepts brands.
  • Track project timelines, deliverables, deadlines, approvals, and follow-up items.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, restaurant locations, vendors, influencers, and external partners as needed.
  • Assist with social media and content-related initiatives.
  • Help coordinate marketing materials and communications for restaurant launches, promotions, events, and company initiatives.
  • Conduct research and assist with brainstorming for campaigns, merchandise, promotions, and other marketing projects.
  • Follow up with stakeholders to help ensure projects stay on schedule.
  • Take meeting notes and document action items, deadlines, and next steps.
  • Assist with company and staff marketing communications and announcements.
  • Support the development and organization of marketing templates, processes, SOPs, and other department resources.
  • Assist with the coordination of the Kei Concepts newsletter, including gathering topics, content, and visuals.
  • Maintain clear communication between Marketing and other departments regarding project status and outstanding items.
  • Maintain organized records of marketing expenses, budgets, invoices, and related documentation.
  • Assist with routine audits and tracking of marketing platforms, projects, campaigns, and activities.
  • Support basic reporting and help identify inconsistencies, missing information, or areas requiring follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate and organized marketing documentation.
  • Assist with occasional errands, pickups, drop-offs, restaurant visits, events, and other marketing-related needs.
  • Help troubleshoot day-to-day marketing needs and provide practical solutions.
  • Support quick-turn projects and other departmental priorities as business needs arise.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

As our brands continue to grow, we are looking for a highly organized and proactiveMarketing Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of our Marketing Department.

About the Role

The Marketing Coordinator supports the execution of marketing projects, campaigns, content production, communications, reporting, and administrative workflows across Kei Concepts and its restaurant brands.

This position works closely with the Marketing team, internal departments, restaurant teams, leadership, vendors, and agency partners to help keep projects organized, deadlines on track, and marketing initiatives moving forward.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, resourceful, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Please note: This position is currently fully in-office. Work‑from‑home or hybrid flexibility is not available at this time.

Key Responsibilities
Creative & Content Coordination

Work Schedule & Location

This is afull-time, non-exempt, in-office position based at Kei Concepts Headquarters:

This role requires regular in-person collaboration with the Marketing team, leadership, other departments, vendors, and restaurant locations.

There is currently no work‑from‑home or hybrid option for this position.

Compensation

$27.00–$30.00 per hour

Final compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and overall fit for the position.
