Job summary

Brooks Automation is seeking a Marketing Content Development Manager to craft compelling messaging and content across technical and executive audiences. You will develop content strategies, manage cross-functional projects, and produce materials for launches, case studies, and executive presentations.

The role requires translating complex technical concepts into customer value propositions while ensuring brand consistency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English, engineering, or related field; advanced degree or technical background preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in marketing content development, technical marketing, product marketing, or communications.
  • Demonstrated ability to write for both technical and executive audiences, with a strong content portfolio (white papers, messaging, launch materials, case studies, thought leadership, sales enablement).
  • Strong understanding of integrated marketing, demand generation, product launches, digital channels, SEO, and content performance measurement.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear customer value propositions and differentiated market messaging.
  • Experience using CMS, analytics tools, collaboration platforms, and PM tools.
  • Knowledge of account-based marketing, customer journey mapping, persona development, and lifecycle content strategy.

Job Title

Marketing Content Development Manager

Responsibilities
  • Extract strong benefit‑driven content and positioning from product management, engineering, applications, sales and service teams to create clear, differentiated, and persuasive messaging for technical and business audiences.
  • Develop and execute a content strategy that supports business objectives, product launches, customer engagement, and market positioning.
  • Create high‑quality content for customer‑facing presentations, white papers, application notes, case studies, executive and investor presentations, campaign assets, video scripts, and sales enablement materials.
  • Ensure all content reflects brand standards, voice, tone, positioning, and messaging consistency across global markets and customer touchpoints.
  • Manage project timelines, content reviews, stakeholder approvals, and cross‑functional deliverables in a deadline‑driven environment, owning outcomes and delivering on commitments even when priorities shift or barriers arise.
  • Monitor content performance using analytics and customer insights, and continuously improve content effectiveness and business impact.

Compensation

Base Salary Range: $105,593.46 USD to $142,861.74 USD. Factors affecting starting pay include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
