Kankakee Community College seeks a versatile content producer to develop multimedia content highlighting student and alumni success, programs and community impact. You will manage digital content across the college’s website, digital signage, YouTube channel and asset libraries.

Collaborate with the marketing team to plan photography and video content, assist with social media and basic video editing, and support department branding guidelines and accessibility requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, communications, English, or journalism preferred; demonstrated work competencies may be substituted.
• 1-3 years of related work experience required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Pinterest is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Writes and edits content for the college website, newsroom and other marketing materials.
• Identifies storytelling opportunities and conducts interviews with students, alumni and stakeholders.
• Updates and maintains website content, ensuring accuracy, accessibility and brand alignment.
• Schedules and maintains digital signage content and coordinates materials with departments.
• Manages digital asset library and coordinates content for YouTube and other platforms.
• Plans and produces photography and video content; performs basic video editing.
• Supports social media with written, photo and video content and scheduling.
• Guides student workers and interns as assigned.
• Uses MS Office, CMS, DAM tools and other platforms to complete duties.
