Job summary

Le Moyne College, located in Syracuse, NY, seeks a Multimedia Content Creator to drive marketing video content from concept through final delivery. You will script, shoot, edit, and publish material for social media and the college website, coordinating with partners and interns.

The role requires strong storytelling, technical video/audio skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. A degree and at least two years of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or an Associate Degree with significant years of related experience required.
• At least two years of experience preferred, which can include internship experience.
• Strong creative writing and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of audio, video, graphic and digital production/communication technology.
• Advanced computer skills in digital marketing and multimedia development tools (Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premier, photo editing programs, and other video/audio tools).
• Working knowledge of web content management systems preferred.
• Familiarity with social media platforms preferred.
• Ability to communicate Le Moyne to internal/external audience and Jesuit tradition sensitivity.
• Excellent organizational skills; detail-oriented; self-directed but team player; able to work under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Ideation, planning, scheduling, organizing, and producing content for multiple platforms.
• Overseeing production needs, including recording content and setting up lighting and audio engineering.
• Ability to move equipment.
• Video editing, color correcting, green screening, animations.
• Knowledge of audio/video tools like Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premier.
• Manage content on social media and the website.
• Maintain content library and backups; provide footage to partners.
• Oversee external vendors and student interns to capture content opportunities.
