Job summary

Lochridge-Priest, Inc. in Texas seeks a Marketing Content Creator to visually tell our brand stories. You will shoot, edit, and produce video content, conduct on-camera interviews, and help plan social media across projects and events.

Two-thirds focus on video/photo with the rest on social content, branding, and internal/external communications. You will travel to jobsites and events in Texas, collaborate with the Director of Marketing, and build a strong portfolio.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of videography, digital media, content creation, social media, or related field.
  • Portfolio or demo reel showing video content you shot and edited.
  • Experience with professional camera equipment (Sony FX/Alpha, DJI Ronin).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Ability to shoot in S-Log or similar log formats and color grade footage.
  • Strong photography skills including composition and lighting.
  • Comfort interviewing people on camera.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Job description

The Marketing Content Creator will serve as a primary visual storyteller for our commercial brands, capturing the people, projects, and experiences that represent our companies. This position will regularly travel to jobsites, company events, and other locations to produce authentic photo and video content.

Working directly with the Director of Marketing, this role will be involved in both content production and broader marketing initiatives. Approximately two-thirds of the position will focus on video and photography, with the remaining time dedicated to social media, content coordination, brand support, and day-to-day marketing activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Plan, shoot, and edit short-form and long-form video content, including project highlights, employee and customer stories, recruiting content, company events, and other brand-focused initiatives.
  • Conduct on-camera interviews with field employees, technicians, project managers, leadership, customers, and other stakeholders to develop engaging stories.
  • Capture high-quality photography of projects, employees, events, and company activities.
  • Organize and maintain the company's photo and video library to ensure digital assets are properly stored, labeled, and easily accessible.
  • Draft social media captions and assist with scheduling and publishing content across company social media channels.
  • Maintain consistent branding across marketing materials by following established guidelines for graphics, layouts, colors, fonts, photography, video, and messaging.
  • Create and edit branded marketing assets using Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, and other approved platforms.
  • Assist with company newsletters and other internal and external communications.
  • Coordinate routine marketing needs, including business cards, promotional items, company store orders, inventory, and vendor relationships.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to support marketing campaigns, recruiting initiatives, company events, and other strategic priorities.
  • Manage multiple content projects, production schedules, and deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Travel regularly to jobsites and company locations throughout Texas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in videography, digital media, content creation, social media, marketing, or a related field. Relevant education may be considered in combination with experience.
  • Portfolio or demo reel demonstrating video content personally shot and edited by the applicant.Experience operating professional or prosumer camera equipment, including Sony FX and Alpha cameras, DJI Ronin gimbals, or comparable equipment.
  • Working proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Experience shooting in S-Log or comparable log formats and color grading log footage.
  • Demonstrated photography skills with a strong understanding of composition, lighting, framing, and visual storytelling.
  • Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and audience engagement for digital content.
  • Comfortable approaching and interviewing employees, customers, and other individuals on camera.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid Texas driver's license and a driving record that meets company requirements.
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly to jobsites and company locations throughout Texas.
  • Ability and willingness to work in active construction environments, follow all jobsite safety requirements, wear required PPE, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva.
  • Experience planning, scheduling, and publishing social media content.
  • Experience using AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency while maintaining brand quality, accuracy, and authentic human storytelling.
  • Previous experience creating content for the construction, skilled trades, commercial service, or related industries.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to regularly walk and stand for extended periods while working on active jobsites and at company events.
  • Ability to safely carry and operate cameras, gimbals, tripods, lighting equipment, and other production equipment.
  • Ability to navigate active construction environments, including stairs and uneven surfaces, while following applicable safety requirements.
