Job summary

Belmark Inc. is seeking a Marketing Content Creator to bring Belmark's story to life through visual, video, and social content. You will create digital assets, shoot and edit short-form video, and coordinate with outside creators to deliver on-brand content across platforms.

You will write captions, manage content calendars, and optimize content for SEO/AEO while tracking performance and driving engagement. This role partners with marketing and sales teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years in content creation, social media, or digital marketing.
• Strong graphic design skills and hands-on video editing experience.
• Experience creating and editing short-form video content for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube with a portfolio.

The Marketing Content Creator brings Belmark's story to life through visual, video, and social content. This role is responsible for creating, publishing, and optimizing content across social and digital channels to drive engagement, awareness, and action.

• Content Creation
  • Create digital assets including graphics, videos, photos, and campaign visuals.
  • Ability to shoot and edit short-form video content using platform-native styles, trending formats, captions, and pacing that drives engagement.
  • Coordinate outside vendors and creators for video production — managing briefs, timelines, creative reviews, feedback, approvals, and asset delivery.
  • Maintain a consistent visual brand across all platforms.
• Social Media & Digital Channels
  • Manage and post content across social media platforms — plan content calendars, create and schedule posts.
  • Write captions and adapt messaging for each platform's audience.
  • Monitor engagement and respond to comments or messages as appropriate.
  • Identify trends and opportunities for growth.
• Brand Voice & Thought Leadership
  • Develop and maintain Belmark's unique brand voice across all platforms, positioning the company as a thought leader in the packaging industry.
  • Work across departments — sales, operations, leadership, and subject matter experts — to gather thought leadership insights and turn them into content.
  • Translate industry expertise and company perspective into articles, social content, and video that build Belmark's authority and reputation.
• SEO & AEO
  • Write and optimize website articles and content for search engine optimization (SEO) and answer engine optimization (AEO), so content performs well in both traditional search and AI-driven search results.
  • Stay current on evolving SEO and AEO best practices and apply them to content planning and publishing.
• Analytics & Optimization
  • Track social and content performance metrics.
  • Provide regular reporting and insights.
  • Test and optimize content for stronger engagement and conversion.
• Work closely with the Marketing Content Manager to bring stories to life visually.
• Partner with marketing, design, and sales teams to create targeted, on-brand content that drive sales outcomes.
• Execute creative direction set by the Marketing Content Manager.
• Attend educational workshops, review professional publications, and stay current on social platform trends, editing techniques, and creator best practices.
• Perform other duties as directed or assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

• Minimum of 2–3+ years of experience in content creation, social media, or digital marketing.
• Strong graphic design skills and hands‑on video editing experience (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
• Experience creating and editing short‑form video content for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, supported by a portfolio demonstrating creative, technical, and storytelling abilities.
• Strong writing skills, with experience writing articles or blog content for a website.
• Working knowledge of SEO and AEO best practices, and how to apply them to written content.
• Comfortable using Artificial Intelligence tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar) to aid the creative process and content creation, not to replace it.
• Knowledge of social analytics and digital best practices.
• Experience managing outside vendors or freelance creators, from brief through final delivery.
• Strong attention to detail and creativity.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Ability to effectively utilize (writing, speaking, reading) the English language.
• Ability to operate a computer and a variety of standard office equipment.
• Proficient in all MS Office applications.
• Regular attendance is an essential function of the position. May be required to work some overtime.
• Good understanding of office management and marketing and sales principals.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
• Must adapt well to change and thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to: stand and walk for 90% of work time; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl for 10% of work time.
