Job description

Focus: Video, Social Media & Brand Content

Location: Austin, Texas (On-Site)

Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience. Benefits and professional development opportunities are available.

Tell Stories That Matter.

For over 15 years, ATX Event Systems has been producing engaging live events across the country.

Our creative team captures the moments audiences see and the moments they don’t, telling the full story of live events, from the energy in the room to the behind-the-scenes work that brings large-scale conferences, client experiences, social media content, branded marketing assets, and original documentary storytelling to life.

We’re looking for a talented content creator who loves creating exceptional visual stories and is comfortable helping manage the day-to-day rhythm of a small but active marketing presence.

If you’re the type of person who always has a camera nearby, notices great light, enjoys editing until every cut feels right, and takes pride in producing polished work, we’d love to meet you.

What You’ll Do

You’ll play a key role in capturing, editing, publishing, and organizing content across multiple brands and initiatives. This is a video-forward creative role, but it also includes social media management, marketing support, and asset organization.

Content Production — 50%
  • Film and edit live events, interviews, behind-the-scenes content, client recap stories, promotional videos, social media shorts, and internal culture content.
  • Capture photography and video for marketing campaigns, social media, sales materials, and company storytelling.
  • Produce event recap videos, client success stories, and highlight reels.
  • Assist with production of original documentary and long-form storytelling projects.
  • Help identify compelling stories that showcase our clients, team, process, and industry.
  • Maintain a consistent visual style and storytelling approach across content.
Social Media Management — 25%
  • Create, schedule, and publish social media posts across active company channels.
  • Write basic captions, post copy, and short promotional language.
  • Manage comments, DMs, notifications, tags, and basic community engagement.
  • Maintain a basic content calendar.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to identify timely moments worth capturing and sharing.
  • Help turn events, studio activity, team moments, and client work into ongoing social content.
Marketing & Sales Support — 15%
  • Create simple marketing graphics, event invites, flyers, one-sheets, and sales enablement assets.
  • Support monthly newsletter creation with content, copy, images, and layout assistance.
  • Help promote internally produced events through digital content and visual assets.
  • Use tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and AI-assisted workflows to produce polished marketing materials quickly.
  • Support the sales and leadership teams with visual or written assets as needed.
Administrative & Asset Organization — 10%
  • Organize and maintain our growing media library.
  • Name, tag, archive, and retrieve photo and video assets.
  • Keep shared marketing folders clean and usable for the broader team.
  • Track basic content performance metrics and help identify what content is resonating.
  • Support repeatable workflows for capturing, editing, storing, and reusing content.
The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has excellent cinematography instincts.
  • Enjoys both filming and editing.
  • Can balance creativity with deadlines.
  • Is comfortable owning social media execution, not just creating content for social media.
  • Can write simple, clear captions and marketing copy.
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments.
  • Loves learning new production techniques.
  • Takes ownership of projects from concept through final delivery.
  • Has an eye for visual storytelling rather than simply documenting events.
  • Is organized enough to keep assets, files, and content calendars moving.

Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro is required. Experience with After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, photography, drone operations, motion graphics, color grading, Canva, or social media scheduling tools is a plus.

Why You’ll Love It Here

You’ll work on projects that most creators never get access to:

  • National conferences
  • Large-scale productions
  • Corporate brand launches
  • Concerts and entertainment
  • Original documentary productions
  • Behind-the-scenes storytelling
  • Cutting-edge production technology

No two weeks look the same. You’ll have the opportunity to grow alongside a team that cares deeply about telling meaningful stories.
