Job summary

Global Green, a nonprofit focused on community infrastructure, energy resilience, and economic empowerment, seeks an AmeriCorps VISTA member to strengthen Marketing and Communications with internal systems, standards, and staff tools, in collaboration with EarthX.

The role will create social media calendars, dashboards, governance workflows, and partnership-tracking templates, while staff lead public outreach, media relations, and fundraising to expand impact.

Responsibilities

• The AmeriCorps VISTA member supports Global Green and EarthX's Marketing and Communications capacity by designing internal communications systems, messaging frameworks, content standards, and style guides for staff use.
• The VISTA will create internal social media planning tools, content calendars, engagement metrics dashboards, and documentation for staff implementation.
• The VISTA will also develop website-governance tools, content-update workflows, content-management protocols, messaging libraries, proposal templates, and partnership-tracking systems.
• Staff will conduct all public-facing communications, media engagement, social media posting, fundraising outreach, and partnership engagement.
