Global Green seeks a Community Engagement and Outreach Coordinator VISTA to strengthen operational and strategic capacity by developing and implementing new engagement and outreach strategies. This role supports core mission areas such as water resilience, environmental security, smart energy, and community development in collaboration with EarthX.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen operational and strategic capacity through development and implementation of new engagement and outreach strategies.
• Develop materials using Office 365 programs, capacity building of outreach materials such as trackers and templates.
• Improve organization efficiency of materials and processes, and create implementation guides.
• Provide capacity support for team members to build foundational processes.

Community Engagement and Outreach Coordinator VISTA

Global Green is a nearly 30-year-old nonprofit committed to strengthening communities through infrastructure development, disaster resilience, and economic empowerment. As the U.S. affiliate of Green Cross International, Global Green has focused on supporting underserved communities by developing initiatives that enhance energy affordability, disaster preparedness, and sustainable infrastructure. Through strategic partnerships, public engagement, and awareness campaigns, Global Green continues to expand its impact and ensure that vulnerable populations have access to affordable, reliable, and resilient community resources. Through partnership with EarthX, Global Green is expanding their reach to extend their impact.

Member Duties :

This VISTA will work to strengthen operational and strategic capacity through development and implementation of new engagement and outreach strategies. These operations will align with the core mission strategies of Global Green and EarthX such as water resilience, environmental security, smart energy, and community development. They will work in areas such as development of materials using Office 365 programs, capacity building of outreach materials such as trackers and templates, organization efficiency of materials and processes, and implementation guides, as well as capacity support for team members to build foundational processes.
