Job summary

Verdantas LLC is seeking a Communications and Social Media Specialist to shape external communications and manage our online presence across LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. You’ll craft engaging content, collaborate with leaders, and amplify our employer brand while upholding Verdantas' people-first culture.

The role involves developing external strategies, coordinating with departments, analytics, and creating multimedia assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, or related field.
• 2–4 years of demonstrated experience in communications and social media.
• Proven experience with a strong portfolio in communications and social media management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with social media platforms and management tools.
• Knowledge of analytics tools for social media tracking.
• Familiarity with graphic design tools (Adobe or Canva) and basic video editing.
• Familiarity with Hootsuite or similar tools.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Creative thinker who can generate innovative ideas.
• Willing to travel to Holden, MA 1–2 times per week.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute external communication strategies to inform and engage current and potential employees.
• Collaborate with department leaders to create content for external news stories, case studies, social media posts, and webinars.
• Utilize SharePoint for document management and ClickUp for scheduling and calendars.
• Manage and maintain social media accounts (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
• Create and implement social media campaigns to increase brand awareness and engagement.
• Develop multimedia content (graphics, videos, written posts) aligned with company messaging.
• Generate engaging content for various platforms with consistent brand voice.
• Monitor industry trends to tailor content for relevance and impact.
• Monitor social channels for mentions and conversations; respond promptly.
• Analyze social media metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Utilize analytics to measure internal communication strategy effectiveness.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams for cohesive communications.
• Collaborate with external partners, influencers, and stakeholders to amplify our online presence.

Salary Range: $58,700-$67,000
