This role develops, activates and amplifies content for inbound and outbound activities and supports demand generation and sales communications across campaigns. You will be a marketing evangelist internally and a brand ambassador externally, shaping Rockwell Automation in the eyes of customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing or related field.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship).
• Experience in industrial automation environment (preferred).
• Experience in industry marketing (preferred).
• Proficient in using AI tools to improve workflow, insight and content development.

• Content Creation: craft intelligent, thought-provoking stories and narratives for blogs, web copy, eBooks, brochures, infographics, emails, ads, social, etc.
• Project Management: manage deliverables, cross-functional coordination, deadlines and budgets.
• Brand: ensure all communications adhere to brand guidelines.
• Design: provide Canva design support for social media graphics.
• Monitor Metrics: regular reporting to measure and adjust content.
• CMP Support: assist for Content Marketing Platform training and resources.

Our Marketing Communications Specialist will believe this too. You will develop, activate and amplify content for both inbound and outbound activities and create additional marketing sales enablement collateral as needed. You will develop and help manage demand generation activities and sales communication marketing tactics that represent the depth and breadth of our offering. You will work closely with our commercial marketing managers on campaigns to support sales, businesses or cross-business initiatives. You are a wicked storyteller and your content will find and capture our target audience and help them understand our core values.

You will be a marketing evangelist internally and a brand ambassador externally. You will be a critical thinker and a positive influencer. You will help shape Rockwell Automation in the eyes of our customers.

This position reports to the Sr. Marketing Communications Manager and is a hybrid role based in either Milwaukee or Mayfield Heights.

Your Responsibilities

• A strong individual contributor on a global team in a large matrixed organization.
• Content Creation: Responsible for crafting intelligent, thought-provoking and emotional stories/narratives based on target audience and buyers' journey (blogs, web copy, eBooks, brochures, infographics, email, ads, social, etc.).
• Project Management: Manage deliverables and activities; working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and outside agencies; coordinating activities and tracking progress, deadlines and budgets.
• Brand: Ensure all communications adhere to brand guidelines.
• Design: Provide Canva design support for social media graphics.
• Monitor Metrics: Facilitate regular reporting to measure, analyze and adjust content for maximum business impact.
• Content Marketing Platform (CMP) Support: Provide resources, training and assistance for Content Marketing Platform.

The Essentials – You Will Have

• Bachelor of Arts or Science degree, or equivalent, in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing or related field
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have

• Experience in the industrial automation environment
• Experience in industry marketing
• Experience with Content Marketing Platforms (CMP), creative marketing tools, software programs and marketing automation platforms
• Proficient in using AI tools to improve workflow, insight and content development
• 2 years + managing projects with a variety of stakeholders
• Understanding of marketing, social media, events and digital marketing

or this role, the Base Salary Compensation is from $65,000 - $75,000 with an annual target bonus of 4% of base salary. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
