Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional experience in marketing, communications, PR, content marketing or related discipline.
  • Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication, including editing and business writing.
  • Strong storytelling and presentation development with ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Customer-service mindset with proactive, solutions-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic communications partner to departments and leaders to identify opportunities and develop solutions.
  • Develop compelling content for internal and external audiences: articles, newsletters, executive communications, employee and customer content, press releases and campaigns.
  • Transform technical concepts into clear, audience-focused messaging with subject matter experts and executives.
  • Manage communication and marketing projects from concept to execution, meeting timelines and stakeholder expectations.
  • Lead content planning and maintain calendars aligning marketing initiatives with employee communications, recruiting, and events.
  • Support social media strategies across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.
  • Collaborate with designers, photographers and video partners to create engaging visual storytelling.
  • Develop and edit presentation materials, talking points and leadership communications.
  • Support company events, recruiting, shareholder meetings, town halls, webinars and community engagement.
  • Maintain brand consistency across materials reflecting voice, values and standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve communication effectiveness and audience engagement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

TDIndustries is seeking a Marketing Communications Specialist to help shape how we communicate our brand, culture, expertise and purpose to employees, customers, recruits and industry stakeholders. This highly collaborative role serves as a trusted communications partner across the organization, working with everyone from field technicians and business unit leaders to senior executives.

The ideal candidate combines strong writing, presentation and project management skills with a passion for solving problems and translating complex information into clear, engaging communications. You'll lead and support initiatives that strengthen our employer brand, enhance customer engagement, elevate executive messaging and reinforce TDIndustries' reputation as a premier mechanical construction and facilities services company.

Success in this role requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, build strong relationships, think strategically and execute effectively across a variety of communication channels, platforms and audiences.

Essential Duties
  • Serve as a strategic communications partner to departments and leaders across the organization, helping identify communication opportunities and develop solutions that support business objectives.
  • Develop compelling written content for internal and external audiences, including articles, newsletters, executive communications, employee communications, customer-focused content, press releases and marketing campaigns.
  • Partner with subject matter experts, operational leaders and executives to transform technical concepts into clear, audience-focused messaging.
  • Manage communication and marketing projects and campaigns from concept through execution, ensuring timelines, deliverables and stakeholder expectations are met.
  • Lead content planning and maintain integrated content calendars that align marketing initiatives, employee communications, recruiting efforts and company events.
  • Support the development and execution of social media strategies, including content creation, scheduling, optimization and performance monitoring across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.
  • Collaborate with designers, photographers and video production partners to create engaging visual storytelling that showcases TDIndustries' people, expertise and culture.
  • Develop and edit presentation materials, executive talking points, leadership communications and other strategic content for internal and external audiences.
  • Support company events, recruiting initiatives, shareholder meetings, town halls, customer events, webinars and community engagement activities through communication planning and content development.
  • Help strengthen and protect brand consistency by ensuring communications and marketing materials reflect TDIndustries' voice, values and brand standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve communication effectiveness, audience engagement and brand visibility through innovative approaches and continuous improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or a related field required.
    • 4+ years of professional experience in marketing, communications, public relations, content marketing or a related discipline required.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook and Excel.
    • Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including editing, interviewing and business writing.
    • Strong presentation development and storytelling skills with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences, including frontline employees, customers and executive leadership.
    • Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
    • Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking and decision-making skills.
    • Customer-service mindset with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to supporting internal clients and business partners.
  • Preferences
    • Demonstrated project management experience with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines and successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Experience creating content for digital communications, social media, websites, email marketing and employee communications.
    • Experience interviewing subject matter experts and gathering information to create compelling content and stories.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; experience with project management platforms such as ClickUp or Smartsheet preferred.
    • Experience supporting photography, video production or multimedia content initiatives preferred.
    • Familiarity with brand management, content marketing, social media management, website content updates and communication strategy preferred.
