Job summary

Cummins Inc. in the United Kingdom is seeking a Marketing, Public Relations or Communications student to join the Power Systems Communications team for a 12-month placement in Sandwich, Kent.

The role is available to placement-year candidates and will commence in summer 2027. It requires on-site work three days per week, with travel or relocation possible to support the location. You will gain hands-on experience in content creation, social media planning, and external communications.

Qualifications

• Studying towards a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or Business Studies with marketing modules.
• Ability to engage with people at all levels of the business and be eager to learn.
• Proficient writing and editing with strong visual communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PSBU Communications Team with content development for social media and external partners.
• Support external publication work, customer stories, news and press releases.
• Create and update content for websites and internal intranet sites.
• Assist with literature, presentations and display material development and advertising materials.
• Support event development and third-party relationship management.
