Job summary

Washington Area Community Investment Fund (WACIF) seeks a Managing Director, Marketing & Communications to lead organization-wide marketing, communications, brand, and storytelling strategy. This role ensures a clear, consistent voice across audiences and strengthens fundraising, partnerships, and outreach connecting entrepreneurs and communities to WACIF's programs and capital.

You will supervise the Director of Communications and partner with leaders across Programs, Lending, and Operations to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, PR, journalism, business or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, marketing, public relations, brand management or related field.
• Experience advising CEOs and senior executives on internal/external communications and crisis communications.
• Proven leadership developing and executing integrated communications, marketing and storytelling strategies.
