Job summary

RENK America is seeking a motivated Marketing and Communications Intern to join our team from May 2027 to August 2027. This role offers hands-on experience in marketing, communications and event support within the defense industry.

The intern will assist with content creation, social media management, internal communications, event coordination and branding initiatives that strengthen RENK America's presence with internal and external audiences.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or related field.
• Junior or Senior status with a 3.0+ GPA.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for trade shows, events, and community outreach activities.
• Support the development and execution of marketing campaigns across digital, print, and event platforms.
• Assist in drafting, editing, and publishing content for newsletters, press releases, and social media.
• Manage and monitor social media channels, track engagement, and suggest content improvements.
• Help design and update marketing collateral, presentations, and other promotional materials.
• Assist with internal communications to ensure employees are informed and engaged.
• Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and best practices to support campaign strategy.
