Job summary

The Oklahoma Hall of Fame is seeking a Marketing & Communications Intern to support the Vice President of Strategic Communications and the Marketing & Communications Coordinator. You will help create social media graphics, videography, photography, and press materials, and assist with event planning and execution.

Qualifications

• College junior, senior or graduate student in nonprofit management, business, marketing or PR.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• High comfort with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and Pinterest.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Enthusiasm for the Oklahoma Hall of Fame's mission to tell Oklahoma's story.

Responsibilities

• Create appealing social posts with graphics, videos and reels to boost reach.
• Help manage annual and monthly social media calendars.
• Stay updated on social media trends and audio tracks for posts.
• Capture photos and videos of programs at the Museum to highlight donor impact.
• Build electronic newsletters from the org's database; design layout and reports.
• Design print and electronic marketing pieces for events and campaigns.
• Write and edit press releases for events and awards.
• Update the organization's website with copy, content and graphics.
• Collaborate with partner agencies, PR consultants and designers.
• Assist with external advertising contracts and event planning for OHOF activities.
• Support Road to 100 and centennial event planning functions.
• Perform other duties based on organizational needs and candidate's interests.
