Job summary

BDI Surgery Marcom team in Warwick, Rhode Island, is seeking a motivated Marketing Communications Intern to support the Marketing Communications group in developing and executing strategic communication plans within a dynamic healthcare technology environment.

You will gain hands-on experience, assist with events, manage Salesforce updates, support internal communications, and help maintain databases and marketing content while collaborating with a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing concepts.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
• Previous internship experience in marketing or communications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with event planning and coordination activities, including tradeshows and Surgery's National Sales Meeting.
• Support manual update efforts in SalesForce.com to update historical opportunities, maintain consistency and monitor data integrity.
• Contribute to internal communications efforts, ensuring consistent messaging across the organization.
• Help maintain and update marketing databases and content management systems.
• Assist team with monitoring RoAS for paid media and tradeshows.
• Set up campaign UTMs and naming conventions.
• Track and report on the performance of marketing activities.
