BD, a global medical technology company, invites a Marketing Communications Intern to join the BDI Surgery Marcom team in Warwick, RI. You will gain hands-on experience developing and executing communications strategies in a fast-paced healthcare technology environment.

This internship offers exposure to event planning, content management, data tracking, and cross‑functional collaboration with sales and marketing teams.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with social media and digital marketing concepts.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Previous internship in marketing or communications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with event planning and coordination activities, including tradeshows and Surgery's National Sales Meeting.
• Support manual update efforts in SalesForce.com to update historical opportunities, maintain consistency and monitor data integrity.
• Contribute to internal communications efforts, ensuring consistent messaging across the organization.
• Help maintain and update marketing databases and content management systems.
• Assist team with monitoring RoAS for paid media and tradeshows.
• Set up campaign UTMs and naming conventions.
• Track and report on the performance of marketing activities.
