South County Hospital Planning and Marketing is seeking a Marketing and Communications Design Intern to create engaging content for both internal and external audiences. You will collaborate with the Marketing Specialist and use Adobe Suite and Canva to develop multimedia assets that align with our brand guidelines while upholding HIPAA requirements.

The internship is on-site at South County Hospital in Wakefield, RI, with a 12-week duration and up to 120 hours total (20 bi-weekly hours).

Qualificações

• Proficiency in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Canva.
• Strong understanding of design principles and typography.
• Knowledge of branding principles and consistency with guidelines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Sensitivity to HIPAA/privacy concerns in healthcare.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with internal departments and Marketing to design collateral (fliers, brochures, posters, invitations, social posts, ads, templates).
• Assist with fundraising materials for South County Health Foundation and Breast Health Center campaigns.
• Work independently and with the Marketing team on multiple projects and deadlines.
• Ensure designs meet brand standards and accurately convey ideas.
• Incorporate feedback from the team into revisions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
