Job summary

The role targets students in Marketing, Communications, Agricultural Business, Agriculture, Journalism, or Graphic Design who are eager to learn, organized, and able to travel occasionally.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Marketing, Communications, Agricultural Business, Agriculture, Journalism, Graphic Design, or related fields, preferably junior or senior.
• Interest or knowledge in agriculture and the dairy and/or beef industries.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with social media and digital marketing best practices.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to absorb information quickly.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Support marketing communications initiatives, campaigns, and special projects.
• Develop content, graphics, photography, video, and promotional materials for digital and print use.
• Assist with event planning, promotion, execution, and on-site content capture.
• Contribute to the Alta Showcase Event by supporting social media planning, short-form video, and promotional materials.
• Support creation and delivery of content for social media, email, website, and other marketing materials, including capturing videos, testimonials, and photos.
• Organize and maintain marketing assets such as photos, videos, graphics, templates, and reusable campaign materials.
• Depending on skills, support an independent interest project or collaborate with the Alta marketing team on additional initiatives.
