Portage Learning is seeking a Marketing Communications Intern to help develop content for the Portage Learning blog and assist with promotional materials. The role involves researching topics, writing blog posts to boost SEO, and interviewing students and staff.

You will collaborate with our Copy Writer and Senior Manager of Communications to craft engaging content. This summer internship is full-time, Monday through Friday, with development sessions and office-based work in Chippewa Township,

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Communications, Marketing, English, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Research topics for blogs to support SEO efforts.
• Write blog posts on a variety of topics.
• Conduct interviews with students and school personnel.
• Collaborate with staff to write/edit content for promotional materials.
• Create general content for Portage Learning channels.
• Participate in weekly professional development sessions during the internship.
