Portage Learning is seeking a Social Media Intern to join the Marketing team for a summer internship. You will help create on-brand content across major platforms, collaborate with teams, and support analytics and audience engagement efforts.

The role reports to the Social Media Lead in Marketing; travel is not required, and the position is hourly and non-exempt. Ideal candidates are undergraduates in marketing/design with strong storytelling and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in marketing, design, or related field.
• Successful completion of a background check and ability to obtain clearances (Child Abuse, State Police, FBI Fingerprinting).
• Must be a natural storyteller, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and within a team.

Responsabilités

• Maintain Portage Learning and Portage Community social media platforms.
• Collaborate to plan and develop new social media content for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
• Assist in content calendar management, social listening, and analytics reporting.
• Engage with followers and monitor daily brand voice across platforms.
• Support paid social and Google ad campaigns as needed.
