Job summary

Riggs Distler & Company, Inc. is seeking a Marketing and Communications Coordinator to support internal and external communications and marketing activities across the organization.

The role covers content development, social media, employee communications, website updates, and marketing materials to strengthen the Riggs Distler brand. The ideal candidate is organized, resourceful, and able to manage multiple priorities while writing clearly and collaborating with employees at all levels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in communications or related field.
  • 1–3 years in communications, marketing or PR.
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading and verbal communication.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Familiarity with social media management and digital content platforms.
  • Experience with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
  • Experience with WordPress is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel or work outside normal hours for events.

Responsibilities

  • Support development and distribution of internal communications and announcements.
  • Gather information from project teams and leaders to develop content.
  • Assist with photography and visual content collection and organization.
  • Support day-to-day administration of Riggs Distler social media channels.
  • Monitor channels for comments and engagement requiring follow-up.
  • Coordinate website content updates and ensure information is current.
  • Assist with marketing collateral, presentations, case studies and branded materials.
  • Maintain brand consistency with Riggs Distler and Centuri standards.
  • Coordinate updates to templates and digital assets.
  • Maintain library of project photography, logos, graphics and marketing materials.
  • Gather and organize project information and materials for marketing use.
  • Support coordination of conferences, trade shows, and events.

As a Marketing and Communications coordinator, you will serve as the day-to-day resource for coordinating communications and marketing activities across the organization. The coordinator will assist with content development, social media, employee communications, website updates, marketing materials, events, awards, project profiles and other initiatives that strengthen the Riggs Distler brand and support business objectives.

The ideal candidate is an organized, resourceful communicator who can manage multiple priorities, write clearly, work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization and independently move assignments from request through completion. The salary range is $65,000.00 – $80,000.00.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and distribution of internal communications, including weekly employee communications, company announcements, leadership messages, employee recognition and other organizational updates.
  • Gather information from project teams, business leaders and subject-matter experts to develop accurate and engaging content.
  • Assist with photography, project imagery and other visual content collection and organization.
  • Support day-to-day administration of Riggs Distler social media channels.
  • Monitor company channels for comments, messages and engagement requiring follow-up.
  • Coordinate routine website content updates and help ensure company information remains accurate and current.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of marketing collateral, presentations, capability materials, project profiles, case studies and other branded materials.
  • Maintain consistency with Riggs Distler and Centuri brand standards.
  • Coordinate updates to templates, employee-facing materials, digital assets and other branded resources.
  • Maintain an organized library of project photography, logos, graphics, presentations, case studies and marketing assets.
  • Gather and organize project information, statistics, photography and supporting materials for future marketing use.
  • Support coordination of conferences, trade shows, customer events, employee events, sponsorships and community initiatives.
  • Coordinate registrations, attendee lists, promotional items, signage, shipping, booth materials and other event logistics.
  • Work with vendors to obtain pricing, place approved orders and track production and delivery.
  • Maintain event calendars, deadlines, inventories and supporting documentation.
  • Provide on-site event support when required.
  • Support Marketing & Communications components of proposals, presentations and prequalification materials.
  • Coordinate routine updates to marketing and business-development materials.
  • Provide administrative support with invoices, purchase orders, vendor documentation, and additional administrative department tasks.
Education, Skills, Experience Needed:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, English or a related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of relevant professional experience in communications, marketing, public relations or a related area; strong internship experience may be considered.
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to gather information from multiple stakeholders and turn it into clear, concise communications.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Familiarity with social media management and digital content platforms.
  • Experience with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
  • Experience with WordPress is a plus.
  • Photography, video or basic graphic-design capabilities are a plus.
  • Willingness to occasionally travel or work outside normal business hours for company events.
