Marketing & Brand Support Specialist

Position Type: Part-Time or Full-Time | Flexible Schedule, Including Weekends

About the Position

Brush Hog Tree Care is looking for a creative, motivated, and hands-on individual to help strengthen our brand presence throughout the communities we serve.

This unique position combines marketing, community engagement, content creation, and general operational support. We’re looking for someone who enjoys connecting with people, creating engaging content, and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty!

From attending local events and creating social media content to keeping our trucks looking sharp, you’ll play an important role in how our company is represented both online and in the community.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Social Media

• Capture high-quality photos and videos of crews, equipment, projects, and company activities.
• Create engaging social media posts, reels, stories, and other marketing content.
• Assist in developing and implementing creative marketing and advertising strategies.
• Identify opportunities to increase local brand awareness and community engagement.
• Help promote company services, events, accomplishments, and community involvement.
• Maintain organized digital libraries of marketing photos and videos.

Community Outreach & Brand Representation

• Represent Brush Hog Tree Care at community events, trade shows, fairs, and other promotional activities.
• Assist with event preparation, setup, breakdown, and promotional material distribution.
• Build positive relationships with local businesses, community members, and potential customers.
• Coordinate with local vendors to source products and treats for annual holiday gift baskets, client appreciation, and insurance agent marketing visits.
• Assist with planning and delivering promotional gifts and marketing materials.

Local Advertising & Promotional Inventory

• Maintain and replenish local advertising displays, including pen boxes and promotional material stations.
• Distribute business cards, magnets, brochures, stickers, pens, and other branded merchandise.
• Monitor inventory of marketing supplies, promotional products, and event materials.
• Coordinate ordering and restocking of supplies as needed.
• Identify new opportunities for local advertising and strategic partnerships.

Vehicle & Equipment Appearance

• Wash and maintain the exterior appearance of company trucks, trailers, and equipment.
• Keep vehicles clean, presentable, and consistent with company branding.
• Assist with organizing and maintaining designated cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Perform scheduled truck and equipment washing, including weekends as needed.
• Report damaged or missing vehicle decals and other branding concerns.

Qualifications

• Creative, outgoing, dependable, and self-motivated.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable using social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
• Ability to capture quality photos and videos using a smartphone.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to perform both marketing and physical, hands‑on tasks.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends for events and equipment washing.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Preferred but Not Required

• Experience in marketing, social media, photography, or content creation.
• Familiarity with Canva or basic video editing applications.
• Experience coordinating events or community outreach.
• Knowledge of the tree care, landscaping, construction, or outdoor service industries.
