Job summary

Butler Snow LLP in Ridgeland, MS is seeking a Marketing and Business Development Specialist for an on-site role at our Ridgeland, MS office. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring collaboration with attorneys and the marketing team to craft proposals, track the pipeline, and improve processes.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree and at least two years in marketing or communications, strong client service, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and CMS/InDesign.

• Experience with email marketing campaigns a must.
• At least two years of related experience in marketing, communications, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Work closely with attorneys, marketing team and others to prepare proposals that meet the objectives of the proposal, budget, and timeline
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve processes through feedback for “lessons learned” to incorporate in future proposals
• Track proposals to report progress/monitor pipeline
• Prepare materials for attorneys for presentations and pitches
• Respond to legal surveys, directory submissions, including Chambers, The Legal 500, and others
• Create research for marketing team and attorneys related to industries and companies
• Track interactions with clients and prospects
