Job summary

Butler Snow LLP is seeking a Marketing and Business Development Specialist for the Birmingham, AL or Ridgeland, MS office. This on-site role supports attorneys, marketing teams, and proposal efforts to grow the firm’s presence.

You will prepare proposals, track progress, and create materials for pitches, while contributing to client research and market insights. A Bachelor’s Degree and at least two years in marketing or related fields are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years in marketing, communications, or related field.
• Experience with email marketing campaigns is a must.

Responsibilities

• Prepare proposals meeting objectives, budget, and timeline.
• Identify process improvements from feedback for future proposals.
• Track proposals to report progress and pipeline.
• Prepare materials for attorneys for presentations and pitches.
• Respond to legal surveys and directory submissions (Chambers, Legal 500).
• Create research for marketing and attorneys on industries/companies.
• Track client and prospect interactions.

If your answer is yes, then this is the opportunity for you! Butler Snow LLP is looking for a Marketing and Business Development Specialist to join our Birmingham, AL or Ridgeland, MS office. This is an on-site position.

What You’ll Do:

• Work closely with attorneys, marketing team and others to prepare proposals that meet the objectives of the proposal, budget, and timeline
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve processes through feedback for lessons learned to incorporate in future proposals
• Track proposals to report progress/monitor pipeline
• Prepare materials for attorneys for presentations and pitches
• Respond to legal surveys, directory submissions, including Chambers, The Legal 500, and others
• Create research for marketing team and attorneys related to industries and companies
• Track interactions with clients and prospects

• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Website/Content Management systems, InDesign and other graphic design tools a plus)
• Experience with email marketing campaigns a must.
• At least two years of related experience in marketing, communications, or a related field
• Bachelor’s Degree Required
