Job summary

Walter's Auto Group in Riverside is seeking a Marketing Assistant to join the Marketing Department. This full-time, entry-level position offers paid training and growth opportunities as you gain experience in digital marketing, social media, events, and automotive marketing.

You will support day-to-day marketing efforts across our brands and collaborate with the Marketing Director, dealership managers, and external vendors to execute campaigns and promotions.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable using social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Comfortable working with different departments and dealership managers.
• Basic knowledge of Canva, social media content creation, or digital marketing is a plus.
• Automotive dealership experience is not required, but is a plus.
• Must be dependable, proactive, and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist with creating, scheduling, and posting content across social media platforms.
• Help coordinate and execute dealership events and promotional activities.
• Make routine website updates, including updating specials, banners, and other content.
• Coordinate with dealership managers to gather current promotions, offers, and marketing needs.
• Update and maintain service specials across dealership websites and marketing channels.
• Assist with email marketing campaigns.
• Help organize marketing assets, photos, videos, and creative materials.
• Coordinate with photographers, videographers, agencies, and other marketing vendors.
• Assist with reviewing dealership websites and third-party listings for accuracy.
• Support digital advertising and marketing campaigns.
• Help ensure marketing materials follow brand and dealership guidelines.
• Assist with additional marketing projects and administrative tasks as needed.
