Job summary

Walter's Automotive Group in Riverside, CA is seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our Marketing Department. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in digital marketing, social media, events, and automotive marketing.

You will support daily marketing efforts, coordinate with the Marketing Director and dealership managers, and help create content, update websites, and manage campaigns.

Paid training and a defined promotion track are provided to grow with the company.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable using social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Willing to learn and collaborate across departments.
• Basic Canva/digital marketing knowledge is a plus.
• Automotive dealership experience is not required, but a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with creating, scheduling, and posting content across social media platforms.
• Coordinate and execute dealership events and promotional activities.
• Make routine website updates, including updating specials and banners.
• Coordinate with managers to gather current promotions and marketing needs.
• Update and maintain service specials across dealership channels.
• Assist with email marketing campaigns.
• Help organize marketing assets, photos, videos, and creative materials.
• Coordinate with photographers, videographers, agencies and other vendors.
• Review dealership websites and third-party listings for accuracy.
• Support digital advertising and marketing campaigns.
• Ensure marketing materials follow brand guidelines.
• Assist with additional marketing projects and administrative tasks.

Walter’s Automotive Group is looking for a motivated and creative Marketing Assistant to join our Marketing Department in Riverside. This is a full-time, entry-level position ideal for someone looking to grow their experience in digital marketing, social media, events, and automotive marketing.

The Marketing Assistant will support day-to-day marketing efforts across our automotive brands and work closely with the Marketing Director, dealership managers, and outside vendors.
