Knox Goodwill Industries, Inc. is seeking a Marketing Assistant to provide day-to-day administrative, creative, and analytical support to the Vice President of Communications in Newark, OH.

The role focuses on developing social media content, improving the company website, and expanding marketing efforts across industries. You will manage social platforms, create reports on marketing effectiveness, and design campaigns and collateral.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage all social media platforms; identify opportunities for growth.
• Analyze and report on online marketing effectiveness (website hits, followers, etc.).
• Design and develop sales tools including presentations, brochures, newsletters, flyers, and other collateral.
• Support tradeshow and virtual events through design and planning, including travel.
• Execute sales design projects from concept to final production, including printing and distribution.
• Prepare and distribute sales flyers for the Retail division as scheduled.
• Manage multiple projects within deadlines.
• All other duties as assigned.

REGULAR FULL TIME Professional Administrative Bldg, Newark, OH, US

Salary Range: $40,000.00 To $45,000.00 Annually

Employment Type: Full-Time – non-exempt

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with additional availability based on business needs.

Salary: $40,000 - $45,000 annually

Travel: 15%

The Marketing Assistant provides day-to-day administrative, creative, and analytical support to the Vice President of Communications. You will develop social media content and advertising across various business channels, continually improve the company's website, and assist in expanding marketing efforts in related industries.

Duties:

• Monitor and manage all social media platforms; identify opportunities for continued growth; stay current on social media trends.
• Analyze and create reports showing online marketing effectiveness, such as number of website hits, followers, etc.
• Design and develop various sales tools including presentations, brochures, newsletters, sales flyers, and other advertisement and marketing collateral.
• Provide tradeshow and virtual event support through design and planning, as well as travel to and participation in trade shows.
• Responsible for sales design projects, as assigned, from creative concept to final production, including printing and distribution.
• Assist with the preparation and distribution of sales flyers for the Retail division as scheduled.
• Manage and complete multiple projects within project deadlines.
• All other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

• Certificate or associate degree in communications, marketing, advertising, or digital media.
  • A high school diploma with 2 years of related experience may be considered.
• A minimum of 1 year of professional experience in marketing, communications, or digital media.

Licenses and Standards Required:

• Possession of a valid Ohio driver’s license and ability to meet driving standards.
• Meet security requirements.
• Pass pre-employment drug test, which includes THC

Software Experience Preferred:

• Intermediate knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Beginner to intermediate knowledge of Canva.
• Beginner to intermediate knowledge and experience with video editing software.
• Digital photography and video experience including shooting and editing.
• Beginner to intermediate knowledge and experience with website development.
• Beginner to intermediate knowledge and experience with HubSpot CRM or similar.
• Beginner knowledge and experience with text message marketing.
• Beginner knowledge and experience with email marketing.
• Intermediate knowledge and experience operating various social media platforms.
