A Major Japanese Company in Torrance, CA is seeking a Marketing Assistant to support the Marketing Department Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing marketing strategies and promotional activities.

You will handle customer service initiatives, analyze feedback and reviews, manage online platforms, support retention programs, and assist in market research and campaign development across stores and channels.

Responsibilities

• Assist Marketing Department Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing marketing strategies and promotional activities.
• Support customer service initiatives, including receiving and organizing customer complaints, tracking responses, and coordinating follow-up actions.
• Analyze customer feedback, satisfaction survey results, online reviews, and complaint trends.
• Manage online review platforms and customer comments, and collaborate with store operations to improve service quality.
• Develop and support customer retention initiatives, including repeat-visit campaigns, loyalty programs, and membership promotions.
• Conduct market research, trade area analysis, and competitive analysis (benchmarking competitors' products, pricing, promotions).
• Conduct pricing research and assist in preparing recommendations to support pricing strategy.
• Assist in evaluating new store opportunities by gathering and analyzing market, competitor, and location data.
• Support the development of marketing plans, sales promotion strategies, seasonal campaigns, and customer acquisition initiatives.
• Assist in planning and coordinating advertising, promotions, coupons, and in-store campaigns.
• Develop, coordinate, and monitor membership programs and customer incentive programs.
• Support in-store promotional activities (POP materials, signage, displays, promotional communications).
• Develop and coordinate social media content, campaign themes, and communication strategies.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for marketing materials and promotional tools.
• Help maintain corporate identity (CI) standards and branding consistency across stores and channels.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and analyses related to customer trends, campaign performance, and competitor activity.
• Monitor campaign results, customer responses, and sales impact, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Maintain organized records of campaigns, research data, promotional materials, and other related documents.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
