Job description

• Day to day social media response
• Write, edit and manage content for four websites using existing messages and brand guidelines
• Development of PowerPoint presentations for executives and other speakers (internal and external)
• Crisis communications during storms and other events to include: social media, assist with message development
• Assist in the development of customer education plans
• Implementation of tactics in customer education plans including the coordination of direct mail, advertising, bill inserts, web copy, etc.
• Relationship management of outside vendors
• General research of information (both internal and external)

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Experience : 2-3 years
• Strong writing skills (marketing style writing)
• Strong PowerPoint presentation development skills
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to handle many projects simultaneously, quickly re-prioritizing as necessary
• Ability to work with both junior team members and senior executives
• Team player
• Deadline driven
• Act as a liaison between customers and internal departments in answering questions on social media
• Ability to work at the Edison Place office in Washington, D.C. or the Energy and Technology Center in Newark, Delaware.
• Available to handle social media during evenings and weekends if needed during storms or other crisis events

Preferences:
