Job description

YLT7 is a fast-growing consumer brand startup based in Los Angeles and Hong Kong, building a portfolio of modern lifestyle and e-commerce brands. We operate with a lean, creative, and fast-moving team where ideas can quickly turn into campaigns, content, partnerships, and customer experiences.

About the Role

We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to support marketing across our brands. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role covering campaign execution, social media, influencer partnerships, email marketing, e-commerce, and performance tracking.

You don't need to be an expert in every channel, but you should understand how different marketing functions work together. You will work alongside channel specialists and other team members, supporting marketing initiatives across different functions rather than independently managing every channel.

The ideal candidate is a natural communicator who enjoys building relationships, stays on top of every detail, and is comfortable juggling many moving pieces in a fast-paced environment.

A portfolio, relevant work samples, or examples of marketing projects (including academic or personal projects) are strongly encouraged.

Responsibilities
  • Campaign Coordination: Support the planning, execution, and tracking of marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Social Media: Coordinate content calendars, publishing, engagement, and performance monitoring.
  • Influencer & Partnerships: Assist with creator outreach, collaborations, relationship management, and campaign tracking.
  • Email & CRM: Support email campaigns, promotional calendars, and customer retention initiatives.
  • Paid Marketing: Assist with paid advertising coordination, creative testing, and performance reporting.
  • E-commerce: Support website promotions, product launches, and conversion optimization initiatives.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track marketing KPIs, prepare reports, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with Creative and other departments to ensure timely execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Admin & Marketing Support: Support other marketing projects as needed
Requirements
  • 0 - 2 years of experience in marketing, preferably in DTC, e-commerce, or consumer brands.
  • General understanding of digital marketing channels, including social media, influencer marketing, email, and paid advertising.
  • Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, short-form content, creators, and social trends.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project coordination skills.
  • Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, and marketing performance metrics.
  • Good understanding of branding, storytelling, and content strategy, with strong aesthetic judgment.
  • Ability to turn trends, performance data, and audience insights into actionable marketing ideas.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines while taking ownership of assigned responsibilities.
  • Strong interest in consumer brands, design, and digital marketing.
Nice to Have
  • Hands-on experience supporting marketing campaigns, content calendars, or influencer partnerships.
  • Experience with Shopify, Klaviyo, Meta Ads Manager, or GA4.
  • Ability to create clear presentations, moodboards, and creative briefs.
  • Familiar with project management tools (Wrike, ClickUp, Notion, or similar).
  • Experience collaborating with creative teams or coordinating cross-channel marketing initiatives.
  • Salary: $20-25 per hour, depending on experience and skill set
  • Clear growth path with opportunities to take on greater ownership
