Position Overview
This position manages the Flutie Foundation’s STARS of the Spectrum program, which directly helps people with autism pursue their career and life goals and dreams through individualized fellowships as well as group cohorts including STARS Music; STARS Golf; and STARS Running The Marketing and Program Manager executes the ongoing operations of the program, while also supporting growth through sales and marketing strategies. This includes one-on-one relationship management with STARS ambassadors and their support teams, coordination of all program and event logistics, and regular grassroots and social media marketing plusoutreach to venues, partners, and sponsors to secure and coordinate professional opportunities for STARS ambassadors and group cohorts.
This is a hybrid position with the expectation of frequent attendance at meetings and events within Greater Boston and throughout New England.
STARS Fellowship and Cohort Program Management (Music, Running, Golf)
- Day-to-day project management of STARS ambassadors on yearly fellowships with individualized and mutually beneficial goals and budgets
- Identify, welcome and onboard new STARS ambassadors by casting a wide net for highest impact and collaboration
- Create and manage a yearly STARS of the Spectrum budget
- Facilitate collaboration, logistics, and communications for STARS ambassadors’ professional projects (podcast, albums, recordings, speeches, webinars, livestreams, etc.)
- Manage Spectrum of Sound choir members, events, music, logistics, and grow opportunities
Events
- Coordinate STARS of the Spectrum cohort events (music, golf, running) including STARS ambassador travel/itineraries, communications and hospitality, management of venues, vendors, talent, volunteers, scheduling, logistics, live event production, attendee marketing/comms, etc.
- Manage talent agent duties for STARS ambassadors’ appearances/engagements including vendor/partner relations, scheduling of STARS, payment to artists, cross-promotion
- Collaborate with Flutie Foundation staff to coordinate logistics, manage the inclusion of STARS ambassadors in all organization-wide events and initiatives, including communication, liaison duties, and on-site management
- Coordinate all STARS ambassador travel, agendas and logistics/expectations for travel, booking for all STARS across events (golf, music, running weekends)
- Attend and support Foundation-wide initiatives and events including Flutie 5K, Dougie’s Team for Autism, 3rd party events, corporate partner initiatives (Jersey Mike’s), etc.
Marketing and PR
- Execute grassroots marketing and PR for all fellows in achieving their goals of their yearly project plans
- Update and manage STARS ambassador digital brands including profiles on Flutie Foundation website
- Manage and grow individual STARS ambassador social media as well as overall evergreen brand content
- Develop and utilize functional CRM processes with AI to manage and grow program
- Increase engagement/appearance opportunities for all STARS ambassadors
- Increase STARS brand partnerships and execute marketing strategy for corporate partners
- Assistance with scripting STARS ambassadors for press, at events, on livestreams, and for large shows
- Create decks and collateral for STARS of the Spectrum and cohorts at corporate/industry events
Relationship Management and Growth
- Support creation and growth of the STARS Advisory board of industry professionals by coordinating ongoing communications and meetings
- Manage industry-specific contractors (music director, golf director, etc.) by coordinating logistics, meetings, and communications
- Support and foster existing industry partnerships and increase new partnerships through managing outreach and CRM sales process
- Support as-needed in relationship management with corporate partners at events and beyond

Skills and Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of event experience - planning and executing in-person or livestream events including logistics, vendors, scheduling, onsite coordination, talent management, promotion AND/OR
• AND/OR Minimum 2 years of human-centered program/project management - supporting individuals or groups through organized, relationship-driven program delivery AND/OR
• AND/OR Minimum 2 years of talent or music/entertainment industry experience - working with artists in booking, management or production roles
- Passion for improving lives for people with autism, their families, and their communities
- Strong Project Management skills and an orientation towards taking action
- Excellence in relationship-building and communication with diverse people of all races, (dis)abilities, genders, sexual orientations, etc.
- Comfort in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and ever-changing environment
- Reliable transportation to attend events and activations across Greater Boston and New England
- Familiarity with content and marketing tools such as Adobe, Canva, Microsoft Office, Google Analytics
