TheMarketing & Events Specialist will be responsible for partnering with global and regional marketing to execute initiatives with a strong focus on event logistics, lead acquisition, and campaign performance reporting. The ideal candidate will drive brand presence and commercial growth through well-orchestrated marketing events and data driven reporting. By blending operation excellence with strategic execution, this role directly contributes to Abcam’s commercial success and scientific reach. Effective event logistics and lead generation will help accelerate customer acquisition and elevate the brands presence in key regional markets.

This position reports to the Director of Events andis part of the wider Marketing Teamlocatedboth in Waltham, MA and Cambridge, UK. The position will be fully remote based in the US.Thisis a1-year, temporary position with the potential to transition to a permanent role, based on performance and business needs.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Execute 12-15 global events annually as part of a high-performing events team, ensuring 100% on-time delivery and maintaining budget adherence within a 5% margin.

• Manage all cross-functional logistics for in-person and virtual events with strong attention to detail, ensuring seamless execution.

• Develop and deliver monthly marketing performance dashboards, providing actionable insights to commercial and regional teams to drive strategic decision-making.

• Support and optimize regional campaign rollouts using Eloqua Marketing Automation, driving a minimum 10% year-over-year increase in lead engagement across assigned territories.

• Partner closely with regional marketing teams to enhance lead generation efforts, support field sales activities, and refine strategies for maximum market impact.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to travel up to 20% globally

• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 30lbs

The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $100,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
