Job Description
Habitat for Humanity of the Greater La Crosse Region is seeking a creative, organized communicator to tell the stories of our work and connect people to our mission. As Marketing & Communications Coordinator, you’ll create content, manage social media, design promotional materials, support events, and share the impact of affordable housing and sustainability initiatives in the region. About 60% of this position supports Habitat’s programs, events, and ReStore communications, while 40% supports two regional sustainability partnerships—La Crosse Area Waters and Fishers & Farmers Partnership—for which Habitat provides contract communications services. The exact nature of the role and division of duties is likely to evolve over time in tandem with the organization’s growth.
This position is ideal for an early- to mid-career marketing or communications professional who enjoys variety, values meaningful work, and wants to build experience in the nonprofit sector. You’ll create communications for multiple brands, tell stories that matter, and see the direct impact of your work in the community.
