Marketing Analyst – Market Access Partnership Lead

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Role Overview

The Market Access Partnership Lead serves as a pivotal member of the U.S. Market Access team, driving the strategy and execution for market access initiatives associated with pharmaceutical and diagnostics partnerships. You will be responsible for shaping, proposing, and delivering U.S. market access plans throughout the lifecycle of these engagements—from initial assessment to contracted execution—ensuring quality, transparency, and strong partner communication at all stages.

This role is based in Indianapolis, IN (onsite preferred).

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead U.S. market access activities for pharma/diagnostics (pharma/dia) partnership opportunities, in close collaboration with global functions, product teams, Business Development, and other internal/external stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive U.S. market access strategies across the Roche Diagnostics portfolio, with an initial focus on Core Lab and Pathology Lab offerings.
  • Analyze and define access-related requirements: product-specific reimbursement, payer strategies, evidence needs, stakeholder engagement, and market development.
  • Scope, plan, and deliver market access proposals, strategies, presentations, and executive communications for both internal and external partners.
  • Translate signed agreements into actionable market access plans and manage the delivery of key project milestones, deliverables, governance, and partner communication.
  • Lead or co-lead access workstreams, providing cross-functional coordination and ensuring clear accountability for each project.
  • Manage project timelines, risks, scope changes, budgets, and progress, escalating issues as necessary to maintain partnership health.
  • Develop and refine reusable frameworks, tools, and templates to optimize speed, consistency, and quality of future market access partnerships.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in health economics, public health, business, life sciences, clinical discipline, or a closely related field; or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum five years of experience in market access, reimbursement, payer strategy, health economics, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, consulting, or a related healthcare segment.
  • Proven background in diagnostics and/or pharmaceutical market access; cross-industry experience highly preferred.
Preferred Skills And Experience
  • In-depth understanding of the U.S. payer, reimbursement, and evidence landscape for diagnostic technologies; experience with biomarkers or companion diagnostics is a plus.
  • Successful track record in developing and executing market access strategies that deliver measurable business, customer, and patient outcomes.
  • Experience with proposal development, statements of work, project budgeting, timelines, and partner-facing deliverables.
  • Demonstrated ability to support external partnerships, alliances, or client engagements.
  • Outstanding cross-functional leadership and influence skills, including the ability to drive initiatives across extensive, matrixed U.S. and global teams.
  • Strong project/program management skills, business acumen, and the capacity to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Superior communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, particularly in interactions with external partners and senior leadership.
Location & Travel
  • This position is based in Indianapolis, Indiana (onsite preferred).
  • U.S.-based remote work options will be considered for highly qualified candidates.
  • The role requires up to 30% travel within the U.S. and internationally, depending on project needs and partner collaboration.
