Job summary

Compass Group USA, operating Spartan Dining on campus, is hiring a Marketing Admin in Greensboro, NC. This role supports digital marketing, events, content creation, and brand management within the university dining program.

  • Additional Job Duties:
  • Digital Marketing & Communications: Manage the day-to-day execution of Spartan Dining’s digital presence, including social media content creation, scheduling and engagement; website updates; digital signage; mobile messaging; newsletters; and other student-facing communications while ensuring information remains accurate, timely, and on brand.
  • Event Planning & Student Engagement: Support the planning, coordination, promotion, and execution of dining events, activations, tabling opportunities, orientations, promotions, and campus partnerships, including event logistics, marketing materials, on-site execution, and student-facing presentations.
  • Content Creation & Brand Management: Develop engaging photo, video, graphic, and written content that promotes dining locations, programs, events, meal plans, culinary experiences, and associates while maintaining Spartan Dining, Chartwells Higher Education, and university brand standards.
  • Marketing Planning & Project Management: Work closely with the Marketing Manager to develop and maintain marketing calendars, campaign plans, promotional schedules, and project timelines; manage multiple initiatives simultaneously; and assist with tracking engagement, campaign performance, and key marketing results.
  • Campus Collaboration & Engagement Growth: Build relationships with students, dining operations, culinary teams, campus departments, student organizations, vendors, and other partners while identifying new opportunities to increase student awareness, participation, engagement, and overall connection with Spartan Dining.

Job Summary

Summary: Responsible for clerical functions and administrative support of food service programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answer telephones and direct inquiries in a professional and client centric manner.
  • Assist management staff in preparing confidential employment and labor relations documents, including but not limited to proposed disciplinary notices.
  • Assist with staffing, including finding staff when employees call out on short notice.
  • Work effectively and maintain good working relationships with co-workers, school personnel, administrators, student's parents and Supervisor.
  • Complete and maintain accurate and up to date records of students eligible for free and reduced priced lunches if applicable.
  • Enter weekly cash sales and meal counts using computer.
  • Perform daily bank deposit reconciliation.
  • Process vendor invoices for payment - using computer, making sure addition is correct and checking item prices against bid specifications, making sure there is no discrepancy in pricing.
  • Prepare monthly state claim form for reimbursement.
  • Assist in preparation of end of month financial reports.
  • Attend in-service and/or safety meetings as required.
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment; ability to perform job safely.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
