Qualifications

• 2–3 years of marketing, project coordination, or account support experience.

Empath Health is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Marketing Account Specialist to support marketing needs for assigned internal business units and mission support departments. Working directly under the Marketing Account Manager, this role will help manage a defined scope of marketing projects and campaigns, ensuring timely execution, clear communication, and alignment with organizational goals.

Hybrid - requires regular in-person presence at an Empath regional office. Candidates must currently live within a reasonable commuting distance

What You'll Do

• Support the marketing team in managing day-to-day marketing needs for assigned internal business units and mission support departments
• Coordinate and monitor marketing projects and campaigns from intake through completion
• Track project progress, follow up on deliverables, and ensure deadlines are met
• Maintain organized project documentation including timelines, summaries, and status updates
• Interface with external vendors such as printers, photographers, and event partners as needed
• Assist with developing content outlines, collecting supporting materials, and proofreading drafts for consistency and accuracy
• Write and edit marketing copy for email, web, print collateral, and promotional materials
• Assist with coordination of marketing presence at community events, health fairs, and conferences
• Help monitor and compile performance metrics to support reporting and optimization efforts
• Track engagement, reach, and other key marketing indicators across digital channels
• Maintain organized digital asset files and ensure materials are archived appropriately

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 2–3 years of experience in marketing, project coordination, account support, or related work
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a high level of attention to detail
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across teams
• Ability to manage projects from start to finish with guidance and oversight
• Familiarity with marketing processes, creative workflows, and common project management tools
• A collaborative, proactive, and service-oriented mindset
• Healthcare or nonprofit experience preferred but not required
• Experience supporting digital marketing initiatives including email and web content preferred
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms and content management systems preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite preferred
