Strategic Comp, part of Great American Insurance Group, seeks a Marketing Account Executive in the Detroit metro, Grand Rapids, or Lansing Metro area. We provide workers’ compensation coverage for large companies, utilizing our deductible program through the independent agency system.

Responsibilities:

1. Market products through the Independent Agency system in the designated geographic area, aiming for high renewal retention and profitable growth of new business.
2. Focus on communication and relationship management with agents, underwriting, and Account Executives.
3. Demonstrate knowledge of Strategic Comp’s products through strong presentation and communication skills.
4. Develop in-depth knowledge of new business and renewal accounts, with submissions directed to the Marketing Account Executive.
5. Present accounts to Underwriting with strategies for successful order acquisition, including an incentive bonus plan based on production and retention.
6. Work remotely, traveling up to 60% of the time, including some overnight stays.
7. A company car is provided, along with a comprehensive rewards program and an annual discretionary bonus.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree preferred; 5+ years of experience in production underwriting or marketing large commercial insurance accounts, preferably in workers’ compensation.
2. Experience in underwriting, loss control, or claims is advantageous.
3. Strong knowledge of the Independent Agent system and key agency relationships in the specified territory.
