Job summary

Smoothie King is seeking a Market Support General Manager to lead multiple stores in your region, stepping in for General Managers and ensuring Smoothie King standards across locations. You will recruit, train, and coach teams, and collaborate with Area Managers to deploy initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; degrees in business or hospitality preferred.
• 2+ years leading a team in a service-driven environment.
• Experience managing staffing, scheduling, inventory, and financial controls.
• ServSafe certification or ability to obtain it on hire.
• Reliable transportation to travel between stores and complete deposits.
• Proficient with POS, Word, Excel and email tools.
• Knowledge of employment, safety, and food safety regulations preferred.
• Passion for health and fitness is a plus.

Overview

As a Market Support General Manager, you are a multi-store leader supporting the corporate stores in your region. You step in wherever you are needed most, covering for General Managers when they are out, supporting stores through leadership transitions and staffing gaps, and keeping every store running to Smoothie King standards. You partner with each store’s General Manager and the Area Manager to decide where support is needed, and you build hands-on experience across multiple stores as you grow as a leader. You will primarily support stores in your local region, but should expect regular travel, including overnight stays, to support corporate stores in other regions.

• Lead stores in the General Manager’s absence across the stores in your region, covering vacations, leaves, vacancies, and other planned or unplanned absences.
• Partner with each General Manager and the Area Manager to identify where support is needed most, and shift priorities as business needs change.
• Stabilize stores going through leadership transitions, staffing gaps, or operational challenges.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop Team Members to build high-performing teams in each store supported.
• Coach Team Members through ongoing feedback, recognition, and performance management.
• Drive sales, profitability, labor, and food cost results by analyzing P&Ls, labor reports, inventory, and guest feedback, and acting on what they show.
• Deliver an outstanding guest experience that reflects Smoothie King’s values and brand standards.
• Enforce food safety, sanitation, allergen, and workplace safety procedures.
• Manage cash handling, bank deposits, inventory, and vendor orders in line with company policies.
• Share best practices across stores and execute company initiatives, promotions, and local store marketing consistently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience managing a team in a restaurant, retail, hospitality, or other customer-focused environment.
• Experience managing day-to-day operations, including staffing, scheduling, inventory, and financial controls.
• ServSafe certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire.
• Reliable transportation to travel between stores and complete bank deposits.
• Basic computer skills, including POS, email, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local employment, workplace safety, and food safety regulations preferred.
• Personal passion for health and fitness is a plus.
