We are seeking an ambitious Baker to assist in preparing biscuits and other unique dishes in the kitchen. The role involves performing routine kitchen tasks, baking, and assisting with other duties.

Position Summary:

The Shift Leader supports the General Manager and provides direction to staff to ensure smooth daily operations. You act as the manager on duty when the GM is not scheduled and assist with various activities. This is a full-time hourly position (minimum 30 hours/week), requiring work on weekdays and weekends.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Oversee staff duties before, during, and after service.
2. Ensure biscuits are displayed at the front counter prior to service.
3. Respond to staff questions and address issues promptly.
4. Ensure customer satisfaction during their wait.
5. Manage all stations during service.
6. Handle end-of-day closing procedures and report generation, including prep for the next day and biscuit specials.
7. Count the safe and complete a safe balancing sheet daily.
8. Count daily deposits, reconcile the cash drawer, and print deposit receipts.
9. Create grocery lists for specials and daily items.
10. Prepare recipes and mise en place for daily specials.
11. Provide training and guidance to employees.
12. Check food orders upon receipt, note discrepancies, label, and store properly.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:
